Amazing vintage Moroccan Caftan, gold silk damask threads trim, Circa 1960's The gold floral damask kaftan was entirely finish by hand. Feel like a queen in this elegant, sumptuous, Moroccan caftan with its intricate design. One of a kind evening vintage Moorish gown. This authentic caftan has been hand-sewn from high end damask fabric intricately embroidered with silk threads rim. The Moroccan kaftan features a traditional neckline, embellished sleeves. It closes at the front with woven buttons and loops. The buttons does not open. It is a slip on Moroccan caftan. In Morocco, fashion preserves its traditional style inherited from great civilizations that found their way to Northwest Africa, such as the ottomans and the Turks. Moroccan fashion has been recognized for its style and has garnered a reputation, winning awards in international fashion shows throughout Europe. Marrakech Bohemian, Yves Saint Laurent style. This luxury caftan is in perfect condition, dry cleaned and ready to wear. Dress measurement flat: Size: small to large Shoulder 14" (seam to seam) Sleeve 23" (shoulder seam to cuff) Chest 19" (armpit to armpit) Waist 18" (narrowest point) Hip 22" (measured 6" below waist) Total length 57" (centre back to hem; excluding collar) Hand crafted by Moroccan artist designer, this is a one of a kind caftan is a piece of art inspired by the tales of princess of the Arabian Nights. The Kaftan is a long and wide tunic, collarless, long-sleeved, worn by man and women. The Moroccan kaftans inspired European and global designers as Yves Saint Laurent, YSL , Valentino, Christian Dior, Chanel, and many others.
