Nagara Couture for Jim Thompson 2 pieces 100 % silk pants and top,
Vintage Nagara by Jim Thompson silk shirt and pants with wide legs.
Perfect condition and the color is an iridescent green.
I really like the look on this Thai.
Made in Thailand.
Size large.
Pants 100% silk, waist 26", length 44"
Top is 33" long in front,
circa 2003.
Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company is the best silk shop in Thailand, stocking a wide range of luxurious fabrics, designer outfits and stylish dresses, but it has an intriguing history to boot. It was founded in 1951 by the eponymous American entrepreneur and former secret agent who was so enraptured by this rough, heavy fabric that comes in the brightest of hues that he was moved to act as a sort of ambassador of silk to the world.
