Unusual Mesmerizing Hand Built Hypnotic Wheel, by Melvin Powers, 1951
About the Item
Melvin Powers is considered the king of hypnosis in this country. His first self published book entitled hypnotism revealed is still in print and first published in 1949, He self published over 20 books on self hypnosis and speaks of the powers of his hypnotic Spiral. This spiral is the earliest found of any using his copyrighted art. Possible prototype ?? signed and dated Melvin Powers, c1951. This piece is made from parts of a turntable from that same time, tested and all working, Included with hypnotic wheel Melvin Powers paper book, "Advanced Techniques of Hypnosis".
