Two Pueblo drums from the early 20th century constructed of wood with stretched rawhide and vegetal paint.
Dimensions as displayed: 28 x 38 inches. Individual measurements: Left (blue): 24 H x 18 Di inches. Right (yellow): 28 H x 17 Di inches.
These antique Native American Indian drums originated in the Southwestern United States. Drums such as this were common in various Pueblos and this may be from the Hopi, Zuni, Taos, San Ildefonso or Acoma Pueblo.
