Indigo Feathered Stars Quilt

About the Item

The pattern, quilting and fabrics all combine to make this Feathered Stars quilt an outstanding example. The twentyfive stars are surrounded by beautifully quilted wreaths and feathers in the white blocks. The stars are made of a variety of indigo prints. The quilt is in excellent condition. It has one very light spot no larger than a dime. Fabrics are all strong. Measurements are 82 inches square; made circa 1880.
