Late 19th-Early 20th Century Burmese Nat-Pwe Standing Female Figure

About

A Burmese Nat-Pwe standing female figure, carved of wood, possibly representing Shingwa, "Lady Bandy-Legs", with her wide-set feet peeking out from beneath her lacquered patterned skirt, right hand extended forward with palm up and the other hand at her side. She has painted shell inset eyes and long inset hair tied with a yellow fabric ribbon, all covered in red and black lacquer with the figure gold leafed, wearing a yellow lace fabric jacket.
