Hopalong Cassidy 1950s Tin Sign for Bond Bread

About

This fantastic sign was a store display advertising Bond bread in the 1950s. William Boyd, as Hopalong Cassidy, was one of the earliest stars in Hollywood to realize the potential of product partnerships, and profited handsomely by attaching his name and image to various goods. The sign is die cut tin, lithographed in brilliant colors. There are areas of raised detail throughout the sign, and curled dimensional edges. The sign shows some surface age wear, as shown, but overall is bright and displays very well. This rare sign is great Pop Art for any environment!
