19th C English Country House Double Fronted Teal & Auburn Dolls House
About the Item
A rather lovely and very original 19th century dolls house. Double fronted hinged front, opening to reveal six interior sections, with remnants of period wall paper.
layers of original blue and brown paint, with age related losses and craquelure.
A pair of bay windows, arched door and a trio of windows above all glazed, decorative architectural column and lintels.
Constructed from pine Third quarter of the 19th century in age
Age related abrasions, scuffs and marks, some minor loses and elderly repairs all the things you would expect.
