19th Century Tribal Fijian War Club

About

A Fijian war club with elegant sculptural qualities and dark patina. This heavy weapon, sporting a two-sided head used both for striking and parrying, presents a minimal, almost flower-like Silhouette. Significant care was taken in the detailing of the head, which features a large panel of parallel striations bordered by delicate zigzag motifs.
