Early 20th century ceremonial woman's rain hood, Huon Gulf area, Papua New Guinea A very graphic woven fiber ceremonial rain hood worn by women in the Huon Gulf area of Papua New Guinea. It has been mounted on a fabric covered piece of foam core with a wood hangar on the back. Normally, it would be worn folded in half and held on the head.
