A fine and elegant hardwood Chokwe (Angola) bench, carved all-over with geometric patterns, human and animal motifs.
The front rain supported with caryatids in the form of male figures of which one is missing.
Original parchment cover,
late 19th century.
The bench comes from the collection of an archaeologist who is affiliated with the University of Leuven (Catholic University of Leuven KULeuven).
