Traditional torque or Hansuli silvered necklace choker from Lambadi or Banjara and Sugali People, Andhra Pradesh, India.t India, circa 1940.
Fabulous vintage heavy spiral silvered plated choker necklace in wonderful vintage condition.
Silver, but not of the standard of sterling.
Spirals of thick silver wire develop in three sections to the left and to the right.
On one side of the bridge is a loop, on the other a screw fitting.
This sculptural and coiled choker looks truly amazing on any neck or collar.
Choker size: Diameter 8 inches, depth 1 inch
A beautiful, rare jewel with good traces of usage.
