18th Century Copper and Iron Estate Made Weather Vane

About the Item

An incredible large estate made weather vane on a later base. Beautifully worn and with a wonderful patina, the vane features honest later repairs in copper to the centre, dating to circa 1790. The base is a later enhancement, and the vane can be lifted off of this base if required, an excellent interiors piece. Please note that the black wooden base is for display purposes only and is not for sale with this item. Measures: 102cm Long x 84cm Tall. The base is 29cm across.
