A special round biomorphic smoked glass pendant designed by Koch & Lowy for Peill & Putzler, manufactured in Germany, circa 1970s.
High quality and in very good condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use.
Each fixture requires 1 x E27 standard bulb and compatible with the US/UK/ etc. standards.
The current total height can be adjusted for a higher or lower ceiling.
Four pieces are available.
This light and the other models of this pendant lamp (different sizes) won the IF Design award in 1975.
Information about Peill & Putzler:
Peill + Putzler: Glashüttenwerk Peill und Sohn was founded in 1903 in Düren, a small town in West Germany. Peill merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947 as a glassworks and lighting company and became Peill & Putzler Glashüttenwerke.
The company always worked with important designers as Wilhelm Wagenfeld, William Brown, Helmut Demary, Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner, Horst Tüselmann and many others.
