1970s Coral Marbleized Glass Rondelle Flush Mount Ceiling Lamp

About the Item

Wide saucer-shaped ceiling fixture from the 1970s with a marbleized glass shade in coral pink, carrying bold cream and rose veining that evokes the look of colored stone. Chrome hardware includes a flared ceiling canopy, short rod stem, and a small ball finial centered at the base of the shade. The rondelle, or disc-form, shade was a recurring decorative motif in 1970s European lighting, frequently rendered in colored and marbleized glass to soften overhead illumination while functioning as a decorative object in its own right. Has chrome hardware and takes three European candelabra-base E14 bulbs, or adapters to E12 can be provided. Wear is consistent with age and use.
