1930s Art Deco Alabaster Plafonnier 40 cm Rewired Swedish 1930s alabaster bowl plafonnier with spectacular natural stone. The shade is a clean, minimalist form that lets the alabaster speak for itself. When illuminated, it reveals dramatic clouds of amber, honey, rust, and grey-blue veining every angle is different. Diameter 40 cm Total drop 50 cm from ceiling on period style twisted gold flex. Professionally rewired and grounded to modern standards. Retains 3 original brass and porcelain E27 bulb holders. Takes LED bulbs. Includes original alabaster ceiling rose and brass suspension fittings. Cord finished with decorative knots. Natural age patina and stone markings throughout. The unlit stone has soft cream and taupe tones. This is a classic 1930s Art Deco bowl form elegant, timeless, and surprisingly modern. The 3 bulbs give a strong, even glow that works beautifully over dining tables, in living rooms, or large hallways.
