Exceptional alabaster pendant with a perfect shade and canopy. Over the years we have seen and sold a number of alabaster pendants that were even better than the top quality ones that we sell regularly. This top quality specimen really ticks all the boxes. First of all, it has the best design and size alabaster shade. A shade of this timeless design and size can be used virtually eveywhere, from the kitchen to the dining table and from a large entrance to the master bedroom. With this size and timeless design pendant you simply cannot go wrong. Created in the earliest years of the 1900s it has just a hint of that European Arts and Crafts design in the rounded geometrical details that were hand carved all around the upper rim. Secondly, this alabaster pendant has the perfect division of black veins that makes the better antique ones stand out from all others. Thirdly, both this striking alabaster shade and the original canopy are in perfect condition. This means that there are no chips or cracks whatsoever and they are so structurally sound that they both ring like a bell when you strike them. On top of that both also have the most amazing polished surface. Fourthly, the three very classy, bronze rosette suspension points perfectly complement the color of the original beige rope and lower rope-knot. Finally, with this lower rope knot you can even change the design/shape of this one of a kind antique pendant (as shown in some of our images). Both on and off this pendant really is an absolute joy to look at and although we have said it many times before, we will say it again here, but in real life this special antique pendant too is even better looking than in our photos. This finest of alabaster fixtures is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and you can use your regular American bulbs of up to 120 watts each, but we would go with two times 60 or 80 watts, because that will suffice for every ocassion.
