Art Deco Loys Lucha Signed Enameled Glass Four-Light Pendant Chandelier, 1930s
About the Item
This superb Art Deco molded, frosted, and hand-painted octagonal glass bowl features a floral design - hortensias - in soft pastels - pink, blue, and green that looks wonderful both lit and unlit. The outer edge is decorated with a geometric design and signed “Loys Lucha” by Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha. The colorful pendant light has an elegant brass frame with four branches and four sockets for E14-size light bulbs. Beautifully shaped canopy.
Dimensions: diameter 40 cm / 15.74 in, height 58 cm / 22.83 in.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
Les Verreries d'Art de Loys Lucha was the famous glassmaker company of Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon (1880-1951), based in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, France, and specialized in enameled glass in Art Deco style.
