Art Deco Skyscraper Style Alabaster Pendant Chandelier with Brass Fittings
About the Item
This sleek and impressive Art Deco Skyscraper Style Alabaster Pendant Chandelier W/ Brass Fittings originates from France, Circa 1940. Features a large shade in a lovely champagne hued Alabaster, full of detail and movement within the natural veining of the material. The shade has subtle skyscraper style tiers, adding additional presence and form, with three brass fittings supporting the shade and attaching it to the polished brass chain and canopy. This chandelier is a gorgeous example of the design and material characteristics of the Art Deco movement, and will style well in a wide array of settings and spaces, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards with height that can be adjusted to suit. In Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates Five Edison Based Bulbs offering 500 watts of light.
