This chandelier, in the style of Barovier & Toso in the 1970s, is made of Murano Gold Graniglia glass.
Barovier's artistic glassware has existed since the mid-13th century and is therefore the sixth oldest family business in the world, still in operation. In 1926 Ercole Barovier, Benvenuto's son, took over the artistic direction of the company, which in 1936 merged with the F.lli Toso glassworks, taking on the current name of Barovier & Toso. Ercole invented the new hot coloring technique without melting the glass.
