About the Item

Crystal glass ball pendant light by unknown Scandinavian producer, 1960s. Beautiful Danish Modern amber glass ceiling light with inner glass and brass top - all in very good vintage condition. Ball shaped crystal glass hanging lamp, made up of two crystal glass shades and a small brass top. The spherical outer glass shade is colored amber and decorated with round "crater" (indentations) pattern all round it, making for an adorable and tactile shape. The inner core glass is clear (crystal) in color, and features a faceted ornamentation pattern - for scattering and diffusing of light. The brass top completes the light visually - and also acts as housing for the bulb mount, and securing of the two class parts. The lights journey through the double crystal glass parts, both richly textured, makes for a soft diffused ambient light, with a very soft pattern of light dots reflecting the "crater" texture onto the surrounding space. The open bottom leaves a direct flow of light downwards. Beautiful crystal glass pendant with many applications in the modern home - cozying up the bedroom, or welcoming guests in a hall way or entrance area - or just for accenting that special space. Condition: Very good, near excellent condition with few signs of usage and age - only the type you want! No chips, cracks - all glass parts fully intact. Please see the photos! All original, but rewired with 2 m (6' 6.7") high end quality, white fabric cord - for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, polished, labeled and packed in protective bag.
