Danish Midcentury 'Heart' Pendant Lamp by Bent Karlby for Lyfa, 1950s
About the Item
Danish ceiling light designed by Bent Karlby for Lyfa, Denmark and manufactured in the late 1950s. The light consists of a large red lacquered shade with perforated hearts to the edge, solid brass details and a bell clock shaped opaline glass center. A similar light was designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sorensen in 1954.
