Overall this model is in the shape of a three tier fountain. Twelve candle arms are attached to the lower frame, while another six rise on top of the same frame with crystal spears for additional light reflection. Remember this dates from ca 1825 and the more gold and crystal prisms were present the more the room lit up by sheer reflection of candle light.
