Large Pendant Lamp and Sconce Stilnovo Arteluce Lumi Style Grey Red Black 1950s
About the Item
Rare and stunning big Italian pendant lamp and matching wall light executed in the 1950s with attribution to one of the famous companies and designers Stilnovo, Arteluce, Lumi, Arredoluce and Sarfatti. The pendant lamp has an adjustable total length of 80 cm / 31.50 inches, a body length of 40 cm / 15.75 inches and a maximum width of 35,5 cm / 13.98 inches ( grey cone shade ) and 20 cm / 7.87 inches ( red cone shade ). It has one E14 bakelite fitting and one E27 metal fitting for standard screw bulbs to illuminate. Both, pendant lamp and wall sconce are made of aluminum, partly perforated in the beautifully contrasting colors red, grey, black and off-white. The wall lamp has a metal base which is 40 cm x 26 cm / 15.75 inches x 10.24 inches tall x wide. It takes one E14 and one E27 standard screw bulb to illuminate. Cleaned with love the beautiful pendant lamp and wall light stay after years in very good vintage condition, minor wear consistent with age and use. The wiring is good so all lamps are fine working and ready to use. Both, pendant lamp and wall lamp which are best midcentury design, are beauties and eye-catchers. They would be a perfect addition and upgrade to interiors with designs by Stilnovo, Gio Ponti, Fornasetti, Eames, Auböck and Juhl.
