"Eiffel" Pendant Lamp by Jo Hammerborg

About

The "Eiffel" was one of many great Danish lamps designed in the early 1960s by Jo Hammerborg (1920-1982), as part of the 'Saturn" series manufactured by Fog and Mørup. The seven coaxial aluminium rings (held together by concealed brackets) are positioned by alternating wider above narrower rings, so that the light can escape in a most dramatic manner. Unlike many other Danish design classics, the "Eiffel" lamp is not available as a reissue.
