French 19th-20th Century Neoclassical Style Gilt Bronze Five-Light Chandelier
About the Item
A Fine and large French 19th-20th century Neoclassical Revival style gilt bronze five-light chandelier. The elongated gilt bronze frame in the form of an ancient Empire hanging oil burning lamp suspended by four shackle supports surmounted with acanthus and scrolled leaves. The center body with four flame-arms and single flame atop, all with frosted glass shades in the form of a burning flame. The oil container ending with an acorn finial. Paris, circa 1900.
