French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Marie Antoinette Chandelier
About the Item
An extremely high quality French early 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and Baccarat crystal Marie Antoinette chandelier. Each main scrolled arm branches off in two, for a total of eight lights. The arms are decorated with large kite shaped and rosette crystals, joined by crystal garlands centered by a crystal ball. Two tiers of ormolu bands adorned with crystals are centered by a crystal central fut. Four ormolu link chains join the arms to the top crown of ormolu sprays accented with cut crystal pendants joined by crystal garlands. All original gilt.
