French Art Deco, four light pendant. This elegant and highly stylish chandelier originates from early twentieth century France and to have found it in this superb condition with all the alabaster bowl shades still intact more than made our day. These alabaster bowls not only are in superb condition, they also have some of the most beautiful and colorful patterns we have ever seen. All four shades have no cracks or chips and they are as firm and strong as the day they were hand carved (and that was many days ago). Especially with the light shining through them, these perfectly polished alabaster shades are of a beauty that cannot be captured photos. If you have already purchased alabaster fixtures from us, then you know that these pendants are even more beautiful in real life than in our images. And so is this one. What makes this rare design extra special are the stylish and slender arms with the stunning little alabaster shades on the nickel plated shade holders. A stylish light like this really creates an atmosphere that is second to none. And with a dimmer, you can always create the perfect warm light for every occasion. For our photos we used a 70 watt bulb inside the larger bowl and three 40 watt bulbs in smaller shades. The perfect brass chains and the bronze canopy also add to the grandeur of this antique work of beauty. This is the ideal chandelier for a small living room or for a kitchen or dining area.
