French Art Deco Chandelier Glass & Chrome with Herons Ceiling Pendant, C 1930
About the Item
Art Déco chandelier or lustre, French
Luminaire made circa 1930 during the art deco years. It is made of three frozen glass tulips. The set is mounted on a chromed structure with decorative details characteristic of the period.
Herons are represented in relief on the main globe and each of the tulips. Each tulip is suspended from a chrome-plated heron-shaped sculpture.
The realization of these sculptures is of great finesse (please see photos).
Good condition.
This can be rewired to USA or EU and UK standards.
