French Art Deco Frosted Art Glass Chandelier Signed Maynadier

About the Item

French Art Deco chandelier signed Maynadier, circa 1928, with a stylized motif of trellising briar rose vine and leaves. Three glass tulip shades with matching rose detailing focus light upward. Trailing rose motif is repeated on the satin nickel-plated bronze armature which holds the frosted glass central coupe with same motif. Satin nickel plated bronze mounting hardware, stem and canopy. Six lights can hold either incandescent or candelabra based Led bulbs Measures: 28-32" max wide The glass is white, the mount is nickel. Can be altered in height if necessary for a surcharge. Can be used in nay setting ex: Hollywood regency, Transitional, Traditional , English cottage, country house, Art Deco revival, Modern

    A very special opalescent, molded art glass chandelier with all glass stem and canopy signed Ezan, circa 1935. The armature is completely encased so that undulating glass forms with dotted block patterns convey an organic impression. A minimum of exposed mounting clips in silver plate bronze creates an even further, all glass illusion. The opalescent nature of the glass gives the hint of slight color.
