Galaxy 12: Porcelain Mobile Chandelier is a large mobile chandelier with twelve handmade translucent porcelain polyhedron shades in 2 sizes.
This configuration was designed to float horizontally and vertically extending in two directions and demonstrates the flexibility of our proprietary hanging system.
Andrea Claire's original lighting design intent was to create a modern mobile chandelier that would defy expectations by also being a unique, abstract floating sculpture. When turned off the polyhedrons appear solid, but when turned on they transform into glowing light bodies. These fixtures transform the spaces they hang in, and become the stunning focal points in the room.

Andrea Claire Studio
Andrea Claire is a licensed architect, exhibited artist, and surfer. After working for some A-list designers--Frank Gehry, Vito Acconci, and the Rockwell Group amongst others--she started her own business in 2011. Inspired by abstract painting and sculpture, Andrea developed her signature shape; the Polyhedron. In the spring of 2011, from the back of her painting studio, Andrea launched her eponymous, sustainably-minded lighting business, Andrea Claire Studio. Andrea Claire Studio has become a trusted partner to interior designers and architects all over the world. Our clients include The Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong, Jean-Louis Deniot, Robert A.M. Stern and Victoria Hagan. Working closely and personally with clients, the studio tailors dimensions, colors and materials to suit the needs of each particular space and client. With studios in both Brooklyn NY, and Los Angeles CA, Andrea’s talented team carefully hand fabricates contemporary sculptural lighting pieces intended to last generations.
