Globe Chandelier in White Metal, Blown Glass and Silver Leaf
About the Item
Part of the Cycladic Series. Generously proportioned dome chandelier in white powder-coated metal, with underside in fine gold or silver metal leaf appliqué. The Globe allows for two light settings. The main light source, a Murano glass globe nestled in the dome, emits a diffused glow. The globe itself is meticulously hand blown by Italian artisans, at a unique scale rarely realized. The secondary light source sits inside the rim of the dome, providing a more direct light source. This also results in two ways light plays off refracting qualities of the metal leaf lining. The pendant appears to float off three finely proportioned fixed rods in matching powder coated finish, another homage to Modernism. In addition to its purity in form, the pendant allows for a diverse and nuanced experience, achieving the perfect marriage between form and function.
Hand blown by European glassmakers, the Cycladic Globe brings refinement to any space and scale. Manufactured in Italy exclusively by Wonderglass.
