About the Item

Space Age pendant lamp in the style of Hans Agne Jakobsson, Sweden, 1970s. Composed of a varnished teak wood structure where ten silver chrome metal cylinders ara disposed in a very Brutalist and Space Age style. These cylinders are lacquered in white on their inner side, and their disposal creates a unique lighting effect. Extendable cable. Scandinavian, Nordic, Danish, Mid-Century Modern and French Riviera style. Very much in the style of Max Sauze and Henri Mathieu designs, and of Metalarte, BD Lúmica and Estiluz’s Spanish creations. Normal lenght (including lampshade): 85cm Total extended lenght (including lampshade): 160cm For one E27 bulb (compatible with American E26 bulbs). Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational, with its original extendable (telescopic) wiring. LED compatible. Wear and signs on use on the metal cylinders, and a little deffect on the teak (see last photos). Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
