Italian Murano Glass Bell-Shaped Iced Glass and Chrome Pendant Light, 1970s
About the Item
Impressive mid-century Italian Murano glass pendant light with chromed metal fitting. The beautiful thick clear and slightly gray smoked tone glass shade features a decorative blurry gray spiral-shaped line. Made in Italy in the 1970s, most probably by Mazzega.
Light reflects and refracts beautifully from the unusual texture of the glass shade surface, creating plays of light and shadow on to nearby walls and adding additional ambient light to the living or dining room.
One socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: 55 cm / 21.65 in; diameter: 39 cm / 15.35 in.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
