Large 8-Arm Mid-Century Modern Brass Chandelier with Large Plexiglass Shades

About the Item

Gorgeous large Mid-Century Modern brass chandelier with eight curved brass arms and large plexiglass shades. Exceptional rare design from the 1950s. Eight original metal E14 sockets for max. 40W each. In very good collector's condition. Suitable for all living areas and very decorative. New cable in 2009 incl. test label on the canopy. Works with 220V and 110V. Wiring is suitable for all countries. The brass rod can also be replaced by a longer one. Very good condition. Shiny brass with patina. Behind the plexiglass shades there are small perforated metal plates. Three of them have color loss in the half of them. There is no rust. Two of the plexiglass shades have little cracks at the holes. On the picture you can see. The second shade has much less cracks. No breaks or chipping. Tears have been reinforced with heat-resistant plastic adhesive. Will be packed very safe for shipping. Measures: Total height 76 cm / 29.9" Diameter 59 cm / 23.2" Plexiglas shades: 10 x 22 cm / 3.9" x 8.7".
