Rare design pendant with large, mouth blown art glass discs in gilt wrought iron frame. If you are looking for a striking and extraordinary light fixture to grace your midcentury living or work space then this, Italian work of lighting art could be the one for you. This boldly, but very stylishly handcrafted fixture dates back to the 1960s and its design is truly remarkable. In all four sides of this pendant AND in the bottom are a total of five mouth blown, circular amber color discs. The combination of these stunning amber glass discs and the gilded wrought iron truly is a joy to own and look at. The way in which they are fitted inside the wrought iron cube and how this design is enhanced by these contrasting geometric shapes truly makes this a work of art and a pendant light into one. This Italian art glass chandelier is in an excellent condition and the patina is simply wonderful. With this pendant having been rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA, it is ready to be used and enjoyed in the land of the free as well.
