About the Item
A very exclusive and high quality gold plated chandelier by Bakalowits & Soehne, Austria, manufactured in Mid-Century, circa 1960.
The light fixutre is made of a gilded brass frame and hand cut diamond shaped crystal glasses. There are twelve sockets for small screw base bulbs E14. The total wattage is 12 x 40W = max. 480W.
It is possible to install the lamp in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada, ...) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. The fixture also can be used with a dimmer.
The light is professionally cleaned and ready to use.
A flat and disc shaped design. It is made of an inner disc which is surrounded by an outer ring. It looks like if the stem has been pierced through the inner disc and sticks out at the bottom of the light. The outer ring is made of glass chains. Each chain is made of three glasses and it is mounted on a separate small bracket. In total it is a very extensive construction and a great craftsmanship.
Height of body only without rod: 6.3 inch (16 cm).
Current overall drop: ca. 18 inch (45 cm)
A flat US canopy with the dimensions 5x1 inch can be provided for free of charge.
