One of Two Emil Stejnar Sputnik Chandeliers, Brass Crystal Glass, 1950s
About the Item
One of two outstanding 1950s Viennese Sputnik / blowball / snowball chandeliers / pendant lights by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, Austria. Original pieces manufactured in Mid-Century, circa 1950.
The lamps are are made of brass, white lacquered metal and hand-cut crystal glass.
They are in excellent condition and have been perfect restored.
The overall drop can be customized to any length for free. A chain instead a stem can also be provided.
Each light takes 17 small screw base Edison bulbs (type E14) up to max. 40W per bulb and it is compatible with US/UK/ etc. standards.
It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity.
The price is per chandelier. They are sold individually or as pair.
