Pair of French 19th Century Louis XV St. Chandeliers Attributed to Maison Baguès
About the Item
An exceptional pair of French 19th century Louis XV st. gilt metal, Baccarat crystal and cut glass chandeliers, attributed to Maison Bagues. Each of the six arm chandeliers is centered by a charming and most decorative bottom pendant with lovely beaded crystals and amethyst colored glass leaves creating a beautiful and unique grape cluster. Each of the elegantly scrolled arms are adorned with fine beaded cut glass reserves leading to additional charming grape clusters, prism shaped cut Baccarat crystal pendants and floral candle cups. The gilt metal cage also displays an elegantly scrolled shape with large acanthus leaves and beautiful finely detailed clear and amethyst colored cut glass leaves and gilt metal branches. Above is the majestic top crown with fine sprays adorned with lovely most decorative beaded glass grape clusters.
