Pair of Pearlshade Pendant Lights by Lars Schioler, 1960s, Denmark

About the Item

A pair of pendant lights designed by Lars Ejler Schiøler for P.J. Høyrup in 1950s, later Høyrup Lightning. The style is called 'Pearlshade' and is one of the icons of Lars Ejler Schiøler. Beautiful, architectural lamps in antistatic plastic. The pendants made of white plastic with brown top and bottom ribbons and brown twisted fabrics cords and white sockets. They are in excellent vintage condition, practically as new. Having had only one owner and hanging in the same place since the 1960s, these are by far in the best condition we have ever seen.
