Pietro Chiesa style. Art Deco and Atomic Era glass pendant light, Italy, 1950s

About the Item

Compatible with US/EU standards. LED compatible. Mid-Century and Art Deco style pendant lamp in the style of Pietro Chiesa’s designs for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1950s. This chandelier is composed of a brass structure and a large artistic blown glass diffuser/reflector in clear and aquamarine (blue/green) with waves. Other two convex reflectors in frosted glass complete this piece and their height is adjustable along the brass stem. It can be used as a flush mount light too, and the lenght can be encreased by adding a chain. A marvel. Rockabilly, Mid-Century Modern, Palm Beach Regency, Sputnik, Atomic Era and Hollywood Regency style pendant light. Totally timeless piece and for any type of decoration, both classic and modern. Very much in the style of Stilnovo and Arredoluce's Italian designs, of Rupert Nikol's Austrian brass and teak creations from the 60s, and the Danish creations of Fog & Morup. Very much in the style also of Oscar Torlasco’s creations. Collector's item. For three E14 light bulbs. Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational, with its original lamp holders. LED compatible. Nice patina on the metal, with some wear and tear from the passage of time and use. Little chips on the glass parts (see last photos). Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
