Pivot Sconce 24" Black & Brass by Ravenhill Studio
About the Item
In our Pivot Family fixtures, we create "an ecosystem in which all the elements are interrelated, interdependent, perfectly balanced, without trimming or un-utilized parts" - to borrow from the painter Charley Harper, whose minimal realism always inspires. The geometry of the spun aluminium shade is designed to visually extend the lines of the steel arm and the cloth cord that hold each shade aloft. The machined collar is also a complex but essential component, providing an elegant transition from each shade to the more delicate lines of its supporting arm.
The Pivot sconce combines the tensegrity form of our cord sconce with the machined collars of our Church Family. The effect is striking, with the adjustable shade supported in space by a simple armature that rotates freely from the wall-mounted bracket.
Black & Brass (Shown), Black, and White & Brass, and White & Stainless finishes available.
The Pivot family also includes a Pendant, Chandelier, Long Chandelier, and Double Chandelier.
