Fine Twelve Light Regency Chandelier Attributed to Hancock & Rixon

About the Item

A fine ormolu-mounted Regency chandelier of classic tent and basket design the tent terminating with drop hung double band corona, this inserted with emerald cut segments and mounted further with emerald cut soldiers, the main double band ring of the same form, this issuing twelve arms supporting radial cut drip pans and swirl cut candle nozzles, the chandelier draped with double cut emerald spangles and rule drops the basket terminating with a lapidary cut finial.
