Sorenthia Modern Pendant Stick Light by Studio Dunn
About the Item
The Sorenthia Light is a modern, linear pendant with bold, elegant lines and dramatic negative space. The custom-made light fixture incorporates an element of the organic in its design language with a long, reaching arm that can be adjusted on site, allowing for a wide range of angles and orientations. Versatile and dynamic, this statement piece adds a contemporary design element to your space.

Studio DUNN's designs are influenced by a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic with a fresh, contemporary perspective. Designer and studio owner Asher Rodriquez-Dunn also draws from nature for his inspiration; the Sorenthia Lights are inspired by shimmering branches of sea kelp.
The elegant arms of the Sorenthia are comprised of a combination of custom cast, machined and spun metal pieces. A local metallurgist plates or powder coats the parts, after which they return to our studio where they are assembled to our standard dimensions or your custom configurations.
We use only the finest materials in our handcrafted pieces. It is our philosophy to deliver products that reflect our commitment to nature, craftsmanship, and good design, letting you indulge in your DUNN pieces for many years to come.

Standard drop rod: 24 in.
Lighting arm: 38 in. (NOT including bulbs on either end)
4 lbs.
Overall dimensions will vary based on the positioning of the articulating lighting arm. Custom drop rod dimensions are available (fees may apply).

Studio DUNN
DUNN is a small Rhode Island based design and manufacturing firm, born in 2010 from designer Asher Rodriquez-Dunn's exploration into the intersection between nature, craft, and the spirit of adventure. Our studio culture reflects this path and pursuit. Every piece of DUNN's bespoke furniture and lighting is meticulously designed and handcrafted to order in our studio. Our work is influenced by nature and a mid-century modern aesthetic with a contemporary interpretation. Our design expertise, along with our understanding of materials and techniques, enables us to customize our pieces to fulfill your clients’ particular needs. With sustainable practices and respect for materials, we build each and every product to the highest standards, ensuring they last for future generations to admire and enjoy. Asher Rodriquez-Dunn has received numerous honors recognizing his work and his ongoing contributions to the design field, including ‘Best New Designer’ at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (2010), New England Home’s ‘5 Under 40’ accomplished in design and architecture, Vogue’s ‘Ten Contemporary Designers to Collect Today,’ and Forbes’s ‘30 Under 30.’ His work has appeared in Dwell, New England Home, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Luxe, and American Craft, as well as many other publications. Asher was recognized as an Emerging Designer and inducted into the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame in 2015.
Customers can choose from the following finish options: Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Brass (with Brass details), Black Poppy Powder Coat (with Brass or Nickel details), Country Cream Powder Coat (with Brass or Nickel details). Custom finishes are available.
