A fine French Empire Chandelier, circa 1820
About the Item
An elegant 12 arm French pendant from the 1st Empire Period. The lead crystal prisms are all original and have a subtle grey/purple hue. The chandelier resembles a four tier fountain. The two tone gold ormulu mounts depict Athenians and foliate motifs. It is breathtaking in person. We have returned the fixture to being candle lit in order to recreate the original experience. That being said it can be electrified again.
