About

Tom Greene started by working for the dentistry profession making advanced dental prosthetics, an exact skill. Joe Feldman, owner of the Feldman Lamp Co. of California, approached him in the 1970s to start designing lamps for his company. At the same time lighting retailer and designer, Monteverdi Young, asked Greene to start creating for his wealthy Palm Springs clients. A new business opportunity for his creative talent developed. With his oxyaceteline torch, to cut and create different color variations, he started developing his signature Brutalist, organic lighting.
This Brutalist Fedlman Co. Four-light pendant made out of torch cut brass is reminiscent of an old ship's lantern with barnacles or some coral formation. The openings are covered by four brass mesh grills.
It has been completely rewired and has original canopy.
