Palatial Italian 19th Century Florentine Rococo Giltwood Carved Chandelier
About the Item
An important palatial very fine and rare Italian 19th century florentine Rococo giltwood carved six-candle arms and twenty four-light chandelier, the scrolled candle-dish supports are gilt-cast iron. The scrolled candle arms, each with three single-light candelabra and a single light on the arm, above an acorn cartouche, now electrified. Gilt is original with some minor restorations, circa Florence, 1800s.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: Wired for electricity. Some giltwood touch-ups in 22 carat gold leaf. Repaired: Some re-gilt restorations. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. A very large, rare and impressive chandelier in great condition with minor restorations. All arms come apart for shipping. Prior to installation the entire electrical wiring must be checked, verified and re-assembled by a licensed electrician.
