1980s Genuine Palm Tree Fairground Light

About the Item

Huge 2.77m Fairground Palm tree light British made This Palm tree light is a genuine fairground piece from the 1980s or earlier, originally used on a traveling fairground ride in England The tree is in 2 separate parts, the stem and then the leaf top. We have fixed the 2 pieces to the wall above one another Each part has a separate plug The pieces are in vintage and used condition, with knocks, scratches and cut out areas to some of the boxing due to how they were attached to the side if the original ride. We will upload some more photographs of the tree to show any areas to note. This is not new and has been packed and unpacked over and over for years so shows use The tree is very large, you will need a tall ceiling The tree takes small screw in bulbs which are available to buy and easy to change by removing the top of the plastic cabouchon cover. The lights work like old christmas tree lights in groups of 4, so if one bulb fails, 4 bulbs will go out. Stem 2 metres height 10cm width 10cm depth Leaf top 77cm height 153cm width 7cm depth Total height 2m 77cm Some of the bulbs on the light do not come on, so please study the photographs carefully This is a true statement and a piece of history as most fairground lights are now LED lit as these get phased out The light is in working order, but we would always suggest it is fitted and tested by a qualified electrician as this is an old original piece.
