Royal Palm Tree Floor Lamp in Brass and Leather by Christopher Kreiling
About the Item
The Royal palm floor lamp is a celebration of living and creating in Los Angeles for almost two decades. The palm tree is as much a sculpture as it is a floor lamp.
The body is made of stacked saddle leather, brass, all hand-sculpted, and polished. The five 42 inch long handcrafted fronds are polished and left unsealed to slowly patina with age.
The coconuts house medium bulb sockets, 100 watts each. LED color bulbs add a dramatic effect and can be changed to white for a minimal feel. The base is weighted brass, and the floor lamp has a black fabric covered cord with an on/off footswitch.
Made in Los Angeles.
