Mezzoracolo Table of Floor Lamp by Gae Aulenti for Artemide, 1970s

About the Item

Mezzoracolo table or floor lamp by Italian architect Gae Aulenti, executed by Artemide. This is the smaller version, but it is still 67 cm high. The other version is named Oracolo, and the height of this lamp is 140 cm. A large white globe in opal glass sits atop a dark cylindrical brown-coated metal base. This Mezzoracolo lamp is in very good vintage condition. The lamp is described in the Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 164 (1969). This lamp is too fragile to ship with a regular courier. Upon request we will share a quote from our preferred shipping partner.
